1930s Whiting Davis Gold Mesh Purse Art Deco Purse, “Begger’s Bag”.
The gold mesh beggar's purse with expandable gate-top opening is the quintessential Flapper Girl accessory.
The mesh is shiny and in excellent condition, as is the frame. The interior is in vintage condition; there is an inner fabric for holding items within purse that can come loose but can be reattached. The clasp works perfectly.
